Dr. Stephanie E. Tedford, PhD is a neuropharmacologist with experience in a variety of academic, industry,  and legal settings. Dr. Tedford received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Neuroscience from Washington State University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacology from Rush University. She graduated from Rush University with recognition and was awarded the Dean’s Service Award and Paul E. Carson, M.D. Award for Excellence in Pharmacology. She is currently funded and has received previous funding for her research in degenerative disease and drug addiction from the National Institutes of Health  and nonprofit organizations. Dr. Tedford has held faculty positions at Rush University and Dominican University where she served as a member in the Neuroscience, Psychology, and Pharmacology Departments. Dr. Tedford is an author of many peer-reviewed scientific research papers and a co-author on multiple chapters in O’Donnell’s Drug Injury, Editions IV and V, which focus on pharmacological topics. She is a member of multiple professional medical groups and societies and has published, lectured, and consulted on a variety of topics in neuropharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and toxicology. Dr. Tedford works in multidisciplinary roles within Medical and Scientific Affairs for industry, academia, and legal practice. She is a drug expert and provides expert witness testimonials for legal cases involving neurological conditions and central nervous system drugs. 

A doctoral level PhD degree in pharmacology is very specialized and the highest degree awarded for drug evaluation and understanding of drug interactions in the body. Dr. Tedford's credentials and extensive research history have provided a critical foundation for her interpretation and expertise on these matters. Her background has supported the successful outcomes for clients in scientific and legal reports related to drug pharmacology and research. 

Dr. Tedford is an advocate for community drug education for middle and high-school aged children and adults. She is engaged with multiple outreach groups to further these initiatives and is available for collaborative speaking opportunities that include the RISE (Resource and Information Sharing for Drug Education) program.
